Makeup & Hair FAQ in Miami

Is a bridal makeup trial worth it before my wedding?

A bridal makeup trial is one of the best investments you can make before your wedding day. During your trial, we'll create your perfect bridal look, choose the most flattering colors and techniques for your unique features, and see how the makeup performs on your skin. By your wedding day, I'll already know exactly what works best for you, making the application faster, more flawless, and even longer-lasting. Most importantly, you'll feel relaxed and confident, knowing there won't be any surprises on your special day.

With 12 years of international experience, I use high-end water-resistant products, layering techniques, and premium setting products specifically chosen to withstand the South Florida climate, ensuring your bridal or event makeup stays flawless from morning until the last dance.

What makeup works best for Miami heat and humidity?

The best makeup for Miami weather is lightweight, long-lasting makeup that doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.
My secret to long wear is applying products in ultra-thin layers, so the skin still looks natural and never like a mask. I also focus on proper technique and use high-quality professional products that help makeup stay fresh and beautiful even in heat and humidity.

Can you recreate a makeup look from a reference photo?

Absolutely! I can recreate makeup and hairstyles from reference photos very accurately.
I’ve loved drawing and art since childhood, so it has always been easy for me to recreate and customize different looks for every face type and style.

Do you offer makeup lessons or makeup classes in Miami?

Yes! I have been teaching makeup for over 12 years. Before moving to the USA in 2022, I owned a large makeup school in Ukraine, and I continue teaching in Miami through private lessons and masterclasses.
I offer everything from self-makeup lessons for beginners to advanced training for professional makeup artists.

Do you work with all skin tones and hair types?

Can you create natural Soft Glam makeup looks?

How long does professional makeup and hairstyling usually last?

My makeup and hairstyling are designed to last a very long time, even in Miami’s heat and humidity. Many of my clients confirm this, and some even wear their makeup and hairstyle for up to two days.
Of course, the final result also depends on your natural skin type and hair texture. I always do my best to make every look as long-lasting and beautiful as possible.

Do you offer bridal makeup and hair trials in Miami?

Yes, I offer bridal makeup and hair trials in Miami. This service is optional, but I always recommend it because it helps the client feel calm and confident before the wedding day.
A bridal trial gives you the opportunity to test the makeup and hairstyle, see how they hold up throughout the day, and make any changes if needed. It also helps the wedding day process go smoother and faster, both for the client and for the artist.

What makeup products do you use?

I work exclusively with professional and luxury brands, including DIOR, Armani Beauty, Urban Decay, Pat McGrath, MAKEUP FOR EVER, and more. All products are suitable for sensitive skin - please let me know in advance if you have any allergies or sensitivities.

How far in advance should I book a Miami makeup artist?

It depends. Sometimes I’m available for same-day bookings, and other times I’m booked out months in advance. The best time to book is as soon as you know your event or shoot date. Please keep in mind that popular dates and holidays fill up quickly, so it’s best to book at least a month in advance.

Do you travel to my location for makeup and hair services in Miami?

Yes! I'm a fully mobile makeup artist and hairstylist, so I travel directly to you anywhere across the Miami area - including Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, North Miami, Coral Gables, Sunny Isles, Aventura, Hallandale, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Palm Beach. Whether you're getting ready at home, a hotel, or a venue, I'll bring everything needed for your makeup and hair service on location. A travel fee may apply outside these areas - just reach out with your location and event date, and I'll confirm availability and any additional fee.

What is your cancellation and deposit policy?

Every booking requires a non-refundable deposit, which is credited toward your total service cost, not charged on top of it: $100 per person for bridal, makeup, or hairstyling services. For makeup courses, a $500 prepayment secures your spot for the full course (not a single class) and also counts toward the total course price. If you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, the deposit isn't refunded; in any other case, it can be applied toward a rescheduled date. Bridal bookings additionally require a signed contract to confirm all details in advance.

How should I prepare my skin and hair before my makeup and hairstyling appointment?

On the day of your makeup session, your hair should be clean and thoroughly dried. Please wash your hair on the same day! For your face, you can apply your usual skincare products. It’s highly recommended to use a hydrating face mask about an hour before the session. This will help the makeup apply better and last longer.
